Rosie torres

Hello! I'm Rosie and I graduated from North Central College in 2017 with a BA in psychology. From here went on to pursue an MA in Ed from National Louis University in 2019.

Since graduating, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many students across all grade levels as a private tutor, camp counselor, paraprofessional, as well as an elementary school teacher. I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, and have specialized in working with students who struggle with ADHD. I taught in a 3rd grade math centered classroom that consisted of students with various learning disabilities. Among them were students who suffered from ADHD and required individual learning plans.

 

While student teaching, I had the honor of receiving the highest edTPA score in a cohort of 150 students, however, nothing has been as rewarding or fulfilling as seeing students grow and achieve all that they can.
