Let CDA owner, Tika Haake take over tutoring and building your child's expertise in their High School ALGEBRA 1 class with this weekly tutoring opportunity. This class follows your child's school curriculum and all classes will recorded and posted to view at anytime. Students can text pictures of homework worksheets, problems, and quiz/test review and Tika will teach through material with complete instruction. This is a great option for students who have a busy schedule and it is difficult to make weekly tutoring appointments. Most students turn things around and start getting A's on tests within a few weeks. These results ARE typical. Tika has been building her expertise for over 15 years and is very invested in every one of her students success. (Homeschoolers or those looking to get ahead and receive course credits should also join this class). Everything in higher math and science builds from this fundamental class and your child's success in high school and college is directly dependent on their confident mastery of this course material. Algebra is learning to use variables and solve equations for unknowns and all the rules that pertain to the mysterious "x"! This full year course is geared toward seventh to ninth graders and starts with a review of pre-algebra skills and then progressively moves into equations and inequalities, graphing, polynomials, exponents, and more. Skills learned in this course will prepare students for chemistry and physics, as well as for upper levels of math.
