Homeschool Course Description: Algebra 1 uses variables and solve equations for unknowns and all the rules that pertain to the mysterious "x"! This full year course is geared toward seventh to ninth graders and starts with a review of pre-algebra skills and then progressively moves into equations and inequalities, graphing, polynomials, exponents, and more. Skills learned in this course will prepare students for chemistry and physics, as well as for upper levels of math.
