Let CDA owner Tika Haake take over building your child's mastery with this Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1 class. This class can complement schoolwork, get them ahead, or receive homeschool credit. This is THE most important class your child will ever take in school! Everything in higher math and science builds from this fundamental class and your child's success in high school and college mathematics is directly dependent on their confident mastery of this course material. Class Details: - Thursdays 8:30p Live Zoom Class (limited in-person availability in 60543). All classes are recorded so don't worry if you miss one! - Google Classroom Access Where your student can find so many helpful videos, pdf notes, reviews, and practice worksheets for ALL Algebra 1 topics. - Personalized Attention Students can reach out to Tika anytime throughout the week if they need homework support or ask questions. Homeschool Course Description: Algebra 1 uses variables and solve equations for unknowns and all the rules that pertain to the mysterious "x"! This full year course is geared toward seventh to ninth graders and starts with a review of pre-algebra skills and then progressively moves into equations and inequalities, graphing, polynomials, exponents, and more. Skills learned in this course will prepare students for chemistry and physics, as well as for upper levels of math.
